Submissions have been made. The jury will go out.

AFL lawyer Jeff Gleeson: âThe look is terrible. If anything Greene leans in.
âThree weeks is not enough.â
Ihle arguing that âthe goalposts have been moved,â that the AFL is arguing a case that wasnât put before the tribunal.
Gleeson, acting for the AFL, disputes this.
The Will Brodie trade is done.
Brodie and picks 19, 61 and 69 will head from Gold Coast to Fremantle for future second and future fourth round selections.
Greeneâs lawyer Ben Ihle is noting that âThe contact was agreed by all to be minor.â
Ihle adds that umpire Matt Stevic told the tribunal that he didnât find the language or challenge used by Greene to be inappropriate.
Collingwood president Mark Korda has confirmed he wonât continue in the role once the club completes its board election and brings in four new directors.
As reported last night, Korda informed Magpiesâ members of his plans and the path forward in an email this morning.
Mark Korda will not be Collingwood president next year.
âAs previously announced, the nomination period for the election of four directors to the board of the Collingwood Football Club will open on October 15, 2021, and close on November 4, 2021,â Korda wrote.
âThe outcome of the election will be ratified at the 2021 AGM on December 16.
âThe election will concern a majority of the board â" four of seven directors â" and be decided by the vote of eligible members.
âVoting members are those who hold a Legends, Club 5 or Social Club membership and are entitled to access all 11 of the clubâs home games during the home and away season.
âIf there are more nominations of eligible candidates than vacancies and a contested election is required, voting shall commence on November 19 and close on December 10, six days before the AGM.
âThe board has been advised by Jeff Browne (Club 5 member) that he, Renee Roberts (Club 5 member) and Barry Carp (Legends member) intend to nominate for a position on the board.
âThe board welcomes these nominations and the important contribution they can make to the clubâs future success and the journey of renewal which the club has undertaken in recent years.
âFollowing the AGM, the newly elected board will meet to appoint the next president of our great club. As I have only one season left on the board, I will not be a candidate for the presidency.â
AFL lawyer Jeff Gleeson QC says Greeneâs act was âbrazen...an act of contemptâ and says a three-match ban was clearly too light and âmanifestly inadequate.â
He says the range begins at six matches. He says a clear message must be sent to players and umpires.
