Two-time Trevor Barker Medallist Seb Ross has re-signed with the Saints for two more seasons.
The Saints confirmed the deal after reports emerged this morning that the 160-game, 28-year-old would remain with the club.

Saints head of list management James Gallagher said the club wanted Ross to help lead their side.
âWeâre really pleased to have Seb recommit to the club,â Gallagher said.
âA lot of Sebâs work goes unnoticed externally, but inside the four walls we recognise just how important he is to our side on a number of fronts.
âSeb is an honest and genuine guy, who has been a very good player for a number of years. More recently his versatility and willingness to play multiple roles for the team has become a really important aspect of his football.
âHeâs played a prominent role in developing the likes of Ryan Byrnes and Jack Bytel during the past few seasons, and we have full faith heâll continue to do that for many other young Saints.
âWe look forward to seeing what Seb can produce in the coming seasons.â

The AFL website is reporting Collingwood is set to send future second and third round picks to Gold Coast Suns for picks 22, 46 and 58 in this yearâs draft.
That deal would help the Magpies cover the points required to secure father/son selection Nick Daicos and help them secure Geelongâs Nathan Kreuger who they are reportedly keen to pick up.
But if this deal does go through and the Magpies again struggle in 2022, the Suns may have done some very sharp business while preserving cap room for their young stars.
Fringe Western Bulldogs tall Lewis Young has requested a trade to Carlton.
The South Australian, largely used in defence at Whitten Oval, is out-of-contract and is set to cross to the Blues.
Young, 22, played 24 games for the Dogs including nine this season.

Player manager Ralph Carr has flagged Geelong midfielder Quinton Narkle could look to move on in 2023 if he isnât able to earn a regular spot in the side next season.
Carr told AFL Trade Radio this morning Narkle would look to get fitter over the summer and push for a senior spot at the Cats but if that didnât happen he would need to look at his options.

âHeâll remain there for another year and we will see how it pans out after that,â Carr told AFL Trade Radio.
âHe is a player looking for opportunity, he wants to play senior footy.
âI think he showed that this year. Weâll get him fitter over the summer and, hopefully, he will play more games.â
Essendon recruit Jake Kelly said his mum Meredith was in tears when he told her he was returning to Victoria to play for the Bombers after an eight-year career at the Crows, which began on the rookie list during his new coach Ben Ruttenâs final year with Adelaide.
Kelly said he recalled Rutten being a great help to him when he first moved interstate as a 19-year-old, and he felt that connection return when he spoke to him about joining the Bombers in 2022 as a relatively experienced defender with 110 games under his belt.
âWhen I spoke to him [Rutten] again we just hit it off like we did when I met him in my first year,â Kelly said.

Inadvertently, Robert Warnock might have created the beast. Seeking a return to Victoria after three seasons in the enormous shadow of ruckman Aaron Sandilands at Fremantle, Warnockâs eventual move to Carlton was, remarkably, the most expensive trade of the 2008 player movement period. The Blues relinquished pick 24 as well as a swap of later selections to obtain the ruckman, who hung around for seven modest years at Princes Park.
With all due respect to Warnock, the fact he was the standout player to move 13 years ago was symptomatic of an issue: player movement had ground almost to a halt. Adam Thomson, Rhyce Shaw, Anthony Corrie, Farren Ray and Brent Prismall were the only other five players to shift clubs during the AFLâs trade week in 2008, with Sydney unwilling to trade star Ryan OâKeefe despite his request to move home.

It was this week of inactivity that probably tipped the scales towards the creation of free agency in the AFL, which this week enters its 10th season.

It will be 20 years next month since Geelong used pick 40 in the 2001 national draft to add Gary Ablett jnr to their list as a father-son after using the three picks before him on Jimmy Bartel, James Kelly and Steve Johnson.
The father-son rule that year allowed clubs to make one father-son selection in the third round, giving Geelong the chance to make three era-defining picks before selecting Ablett, who, in truth, would have probably only attracted a second-round bid under todayâs rules before becoming one of the gameâs greats.

Now, of course, the potential advantages inherent in gaining a father-son prospect have been reduced with clubs allowed to bid on other clubsâ father-son prospects at the draft pick that they think reflects the playerâs standing in the draft.
That reality has tempered - to some extent - the excitement Collingwood supporters feel about landing Nick Daicos, the son of club legend Peter and brother of fan favourite Josh, in this yearâs national draft.
